In the last 18 months the store has undergone a complete transformation and now has a beautiful new Cosmetics department, an exciting Menswear department and a contemporary styled Cookshop and Linens department.

the Cosmetics and Fragrance department, where customers
can be pampered or simply offered the best range and advice
to suit their needs and regimes. White flooring combined with
walnut finishes and chic graphic panels provide the back-drop
to a very stylish, ultra-modern department.

our Cookshop & Linens department
situated on
the 2nd floor
Iconic small electrical goods, gadgets, gifts for food and drink lovers are all
available in our very contemporary Cookshop environment, along with our dedicated
demonstration area.

linens department offers bedding, cushions and throws in
an elegant and informal environment.

Carlisle’s restaurant is the perfect tonic to a hard days shopping. You can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and views looking out onto the historic cathedral. Sit back, unwind and savour the delicious food and artwork on the walls created by local artists.
Our food safari with Annette Gibbons included sampling ingredients and produce from around Cumbria so our customers get the very best in our restaurant, photographs from the day can be viewed on the walls (click here for more information).
All our food is freshly prepared on the premises by our excellent chefs, using locally sourced ingredients and to whet your appetite further our Hadrians Wall Country produce stand has a great selection of chutneys, sauces, jams and cakes all available for you to purchase. (click for a sample menu)

Situated on the ground floor is our Menswear Department, dressed in red brick walls to reflect the city’s cultural quarter, while reclaimed flooring and masculine fixtures and fittings feature throughout.
A separate entrance to the side of the store means
that our male customers have easy, convenient access
to the latest designer fashion ranges including Hugo Boss Black Label and Armani Jeans.
