The
Hoopers Group of stores was founded in May 1982 when
our first store opened for business in Torquay and where
Head Office is now located.

Since
then we have developed a reputation for style, quality,
customer service and good value across our complete
assortment range. It is a combination that has worked
well and Hoopers has grown to a total of five department
stores and three menswear stores in quintessential
English
towns, our most recent acquisition is in Carlisle. |

Hoopers
is primarily a fashion and fashion related business
with departments that include ladies' and men's fashions,
shoes, accessories, perfumery and cosmetics, gifts
and,
at our larger stores, home interiors, cookshop, china
and glass and an eclectic range of furniture. |

Our
ladies' fashion business is principally designer
led,
with labels that include Max Mara, Moschino, Olsen, Basler and Betty Barclay (pictured left). |
In
our Attitude Young Fashion departments, chic and up-to-the-minute
labels include Miss Sixty (pictured right), Nougat, Orla Kiely and Ted Baker. |

Our accessories department has leather brands including Mulberry, Bridge and Radley, plus an array of scarves, sunglasses and hats. |
In
men's fashion the successful branded assortment includes
Hugo Boss, Ted Baker (pictured right) Gant and Polo Ralph Lauren. |

Each
Hoopers store has a Restaurant.
Hair and Beauty Salons
can be found in our stores in Torquay, Wilmslow and
Tunbridge Wells. |
We
issue a bi-annual magazine which keeps customers in
touch with trends and seasonal assortments in addition
to active national and regional marketing campaigns.
Christmas
Gifts and Perfumery each get their own special attention
at Christmas time with annual magazines to help customers
find that unique gift. |

We
have a very strong account base with account customers
benefiting from exclusive incentives and promotions.
