In 1856, Thomas Burberry, a 21 year old living in Basingstoke founded the Burberry Company. By the time he was 35 years old, Burberry had established his business as a distinguished source for outdoor wear. The Burberry company has branded stores across the globe, overseeing their fashion and fragrance lines. Today, Burberry's trademark products include fashionable handbags and exclusive fragrances, and both HM Queen Elizabeth II and HRH The Prince of Wales have granted the company Royal Warrants.
